Rosina Santana (MFA '01) will be teaching a two day workshop on the use of oral history as part of the community art process at the Museo Raul Anguiano, Guadalajara, Mexico in September. She has been invited to give a lecture on Community Public Art Process and complexity theory at the School of Art, Architecture and Design, at the University of Guadalajara, in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Ruth Stanford (MFA '04) presents Cryptoecology, a solo show at Eyedrum in Atlanta, GA, opening August 23 (7:00-11:00 p.m.) and running through October 4, http://www.eyedrum.org/.

Fereshteh Toosi (MFA '04) created a performance for Hallwalls in Buffalo and Spark Art Space in Syracuse to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Love Canal environmental disaster. '78 RECORDS: ERIE CANAL TO LOVE CANAL 1978-2008 connects Erie Canal history, the Salt City of Syracuse, and current environmental projects in New York state. Starting this fall, Fereshteh will be teaching in the New Millennium Studies program at Columbia College Chicago, IL, after a year as Faculty Fellow in Arts and Civic Engagement at Syracuse University, NY.

Mario Marzan (MFA '05) co-curates Make, Shift, Home at SPACE inPittsburgh, PA, on view
August 29 - October 11, 2008. There will be a reception on October 3 as part of the Downtown Gallery crawl from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Artists featured include Mike Wille, Blithe Riley (MFA '05),
Roxana Perez-Mendez, Ivelisse Jimenez, Mario Marzan, Patricia Fernandez, Diana Behl, Jeff Mueller, David Tinapple (MFA '07), and Kathleen Thum.

J.B. Galloway (BFA '06) leaves Bhutan in August for Nepal before heading to Delhi, India for 10 months in the AIF Service Corps Fellowship. He is one of 23 Americans awarded this fellowship.

Emily Berezin (BFA '08) exhibits works in Agency: Art and Advertising, curated by Kevin Concannon, PhD, and John Noga for the McDonough Museum of Art in Youngstown, OH, September 19 ­ November 8, http://mcdonoughmuseum.ysu.edu.
